A free online drawing board that opens instantly in your browser. Sketch and doodle with a pen, draw shapes, arrows and text on an infinite canvas, or paste a screenshot and draw on the image to annotate it. There is no account and nothing is uploaded — export a PNG or SVG when you are done.
Pick up the pen and draw with a mouse, finger or stylus. Choose colours and stroke widths, and undo anything with Ctrl+Z.
Paste a screenshot with Ctrl+V or drop a photo onto the page. It fills the view and the pen is ready, so you can circle, arrow and scribble over it straight away.
Boxes, diamonds, ellipses, lines and arrows in a hand-drawn style, for quick diagrams and flowcharts. Arrows stay attached to the shapes they connect.
Nothing is flattened to pixels. A line drawn an hour ago can still be moved, resized, recoloured or deleted. Export PNG, lossless SVG, or a scene file to reopen later.
People reach this page looking for an online sketch pad, a way to draw online for free, an online drawing board or whiteboard, a drawing app online with no download, somewhere to doodle online, a simple online paint alternative, or a quick way to annotate a screenshot online, or a handwriting notepad online they can write on with a finger or stylus.
Yes — free, with no account, no trial and no upload. There is no server holding your drawings, so there is nothing to charge for.
Take the screenshot, then press Ctrl+V (⌘V on a Mac) on this page. The image drops into the middle of the canvas with the pen selected. Draw your notes over it, add arrows or text, then choose Export → PNG at the top right.
Yes. Drag the image onto the page, paste it, or use the picture button in the tool bar. Everything you draw sits on top of it and stays editable.
Yes, with a finger or a stylus. The style panel is hidden on small screens, so a larger screen is better for detailed work.
Yes. Pick the pen (P) and write with a finger, stylus or mouse — it works as a handwriting notepad online. It keeps your handwriting as drawn; it doesn't convert it to typed text. See tips for writing by hand.
It is simpler to use and keeps everything editable: each stroke, shape and word is its own object you can move or delete later, rather than pixels painted onto a canvas. There is no fill bucket or pixel eraser — select a stroke and press Delete instead.
It works on the same idea — a hand-drawn style, element-based canvas with arrows that bind to shapes — and is free with no account. It does not support element rotation or grouping.
PNG for an image to paste anywhere, SVG for a lossless vector file, and a .json scene file you can reopen here later. Smaller drawings can also be shared as a link.
Hold space and drag, or pick the hand tool. Ctrl and scroll zooms, and Fit brings the whole drawing into view.
Yes — click the padlock in the toolbar or press Q, and the tool stays active instead of returning to select. The pen already stays active on its own.
Yes. Drawings save automatically in your browser and appear under My drawings (the folder button at the top left). The + button beside it starts another without losing this one. Export a scene file to move one to another device.
